Animated Work
Choose your strongest sprint design and bring it to life with animation. You'll add motion to at least one element — text that slides in, a shape that pulses, an illustration that reveals itself. Animation doesn't have to be complex to be effective; a single well-timed motion can transform a static design into something memorable. You'll export your animation as a GIF or MP4 for inclusion in your portfolio.
Objectives
- 1Select 1 sprint design to animate
- 2Add motion to at least 2 elements
- 3Animation must loop cleanly (no jarring jump at the loop point)
- 4Export as GIF or MP4 at 1080x1080px
Materials
- Adobe Express animation tools
- Canva animation tools (backup)
- Your selected sprint design file
Tips & Techniques
1Subtle animations often look more professional than big flashy ones
2Stagger your animations — don't have everything move at the same time
3Preview your loop before exporting — watch for the jump at the end
4Keep your animation under 5 seconds for maximum impact
