Unit 6 · Project 4Final Project

Logo Keyframe Animation

The final piece of your brand kit is a logo animation — a short (3–8 second) animated version of your logo that could be used as a social media intro or website header. You'll use keyframe animation to bring your logo to life: elements can slide in, fade in, scale up, rotate, or reveal in sequence. The animation should feel intentional and on-brand — a playful brand might have bouncy motion, a luxury brand might have slow, elegant reveals.

Objectives

  • 1
    Animation is 3–8 seconds long
  • 2
At least 3 elements animated with distinct motion
  • 3
    Animation loops cleanly
  • 4
Exported as MP4 or GIF at 1080x1080px or 1920x1080px

Materials

  • Adobe Express animation tools or Canva
  • Your logo files
  • Brand kit for reference

Tips & Techniques

1Plan your animation on paper first — sketch the sequence of what appears when
2Ease in/ease out motion feels more natural than linear motion
3Don't animate everything at once — stagger your elements for a more polished look
4Watch your animation 10 times before submitting — you'll catch things you missed
