Unit 2 · Project 3

Pop Tart Blueprint

Before you cut a single piece of fabric for your plushie, you need a plan. A blueprint is a technical drawing that shows every panel of your Pop Tart Plushie at scale, with dimensions labeled. You'll create front, back, and side-edge views, and indicate where seam allowances go. This is how professional soft goods designers work — the blueprint is what gets handed to a manufacturer. Your blueprint will also serve as your cutting template when you move to the sewing stage.
